European Adventure Days 3 and 4 by Caden

Day 3 – Today is June 8, 2018. We woke up at 10:00 a.m. It is becoming easier adjusting to the new time difference. We went shopping last night for some food so we got to have cereal and bananas at our apartment. The Frosted Flakes were called Frosties here. There are a lot of same food items here but they have different names. Even the characters and animals are the same on the boxes here. I wonder why they have different names. After getting out the room, we got onto a train to Chester, England. We finally got there and were walking around when we came up to a toy shop. We ended up getting something to keep us entertained on the ferry. We each got a snake rope thing that twists and makes shapes.

While in Chester, we also walked around a wall. The Romans built this wall a long time ago around the city. We were only able to go in and out of the center part of the city through specific gates. At the bottom of the gate, there were steps to the top. It was really cool because we got to see the skyline, old buildings, and walk on a wall that was built a very long time ago. We took the train back to Liverpool and found a store that sold Pokemon cards. Yup, we got some! And finally we found the BIG Superlambanana!

Day 4 – Today is June 9, 2018. Today we woke up at 7:00 a.m. and we started by going to a café called the Moose Coffee. It was called authentic American and Canadian breakfast food which cool that they consider American food different. I got a double dutch that is 2 huge pancakes loaded with smoked sausage and bacon. Mommy got eggs benedict with names like New Orleans and New England. They also had an egg dish called Trump eggs with easy side up eggs and two chicken patties. Mom and dad had to explain to me what the political meaning it. It was funny.

Next, we went on a ferry across the Mersey River, took a tour bus around Liverpool, and visited the world museum. When we were on the tour bus, we saw Paul McCartney. He was one of the original beatle! After that, we went to a awesome food place called The Pump House and we all got delicious fish and chips. When we got back to the apartment, we had to pack up all of our stuff because we are heading out to Ireland tomorrow.
